The Campagnolo EPS Power Unit V3 integrates the battery and circuitry necessary to run EPS electronic shifting into one slim unit. The V3 is smaller than the previous model in order to offer more internal mounting options in modern, aerodynamic frames. It can also be mounted in the seatpost by using adapters (sold separately). Vibration absorbing material and IP 67 waterproofing protect the unit from harm. It checks battery levels and derailleur functionality so that performance can be optimised for instant response shifting and external LEDs allow it to communicate any system malfunctions that it diagnoses.
